Upcoming openings in Burnaby

Below is the general timeline for upcoming openings in Burnaby. Specific details on what activities will be offered at each facility as well as information on outdoor programs and summer camps are currently not available. Detailed information will be available soon.

June 13Spray pads begin to open
June 22Youth Centres open with reduced services at Summit, South Central and Creekside. 
Followed by Edmonds on June 29. 
Registered outdoor programs (hiking, kayaking, tennis, etc.) will begin. Stay tuned for registration information.
Week of June 29 Gym activities, fitness, weight/cardio and racquet sports as available at Bonsor, Cameron, Edmonds, Willingdon and Eileen Dailly with reduced hours. 
Week of July 6Outdoor pools at Robert Burnaby, Kensington and MacPherson open for public and lap swims and allotments (Central Park will remain closed.)
Begins July 13A limited selection of summer camps will be offered. Stay tuned for registration information. Wading pools open (schedule will be posted on website).
Early to mid JulyArts and cultural facilities and programs at the Burnaby Art Gallery and Shadbolt Centre. Stay tuned for details.
Mid July Limited Library opening. 
July 15Limited access to exhibits at the Burnaby Village Museum.
Late JulyIndoor pools at Edmonds, Eileen Dailly and CG Brown for public and lap swims as well as allotments with reduced hours (Bonsor pool remains closed).
